When you say this is an original design, did you just free-hand the applique cutting? I am having a hard time finding other appliques to use as you did. I have contacted Cricut cutters on ebay and am waiting for a response. Thanks!

How does your sister make the SVG images? I have a cricut cake, and I am looking into getting the desgin studio. But I am just curious to how to get the symbols like you had the Nike symbol.

How did you create your own files for the cricut cake? You used it on the nikecshoe for the symbol and the Jordan cut out?

I just bought te cricut cake and haven’t got the chance to use it yet. I’ve got question and wanted to know that using the “Design Studio for your Cricut Cake” does it allow you to create, design or pick images you want for the cricut cake? Hope to hear from you soon.

I love this site. I’ve already gotten so much information and I’ve only been looking at it for 10 minutes. I do have 2 questions I’m hoping to get answers for. First, can you use any Cricut cartridge in the Cricut Cake or does it specifically have to be for the Cricut Cake? Second, for the Design Studio software, I’ve read that you can’t import your own designs, you can only alter the designs that are on the cartidges that you already have but I see on your site that you sister has done images for you. So…can you import any outside image (as long as you save it in a .svg format)?

Thank you so much for this tip. My mom and I tried to cut the same dough out today and it did not work! I’ll try your recommendation to add flower and freeze it and see if I can do better next time.
